Work with us
CISI collaborates with universities and research groups across Guatemala, the Americas, and beyond. Our collaborations are grounded in long-term community relationships, Guatemalan leadership and co-authorship, and local capacity building.
Research collaborations
If your work aligns with one of our research themes or active projects, we would like to hear from you. Researchers who work with us over the long term may join as Affiliate Research Scientists; see the team page for our current affiliates.

Reach out directly to any of our principal investigators:

Students & trainees
We mentor undergraduate, medical, and graduate students and host research fellows. Most projects require Spanish proficiency; Kaqchikel or another Mayan language is an asset.
Data & instruments
Several of our cohorts, datasets, and translated or validated instruments are available to collaborating researchers on request, including materials deposited in public repositories alongside our publications.
General inquiries
